Established in July 2015 as a not-for-profit organization, SIEBA is the peak body representing the interests of schools in New Zealand’s international education sector. With over 400 member schools nationwide, SIEBA plays a vital role in fostering a high-quality, sustainable international education environment by providing dedicated services, resources, and representation. Membership in SIEBA ensures schools are well-supported, connected, and represented in navigating the unique demands of international education in Aotearoa, with access to extensive guidance, professional development, and policy advocacy. Through SIEBA membership, schools gain access to a range of essential resources and benefits designed to enhance their role in international education. Key benefits of membership include:

Membership Fees for 2025
SIEBA relies on subscriptions to fund services and support on behalf of members.
Primary and Intermediate Schools: $1,250 + GST per year
Secondary Schools: $2,000 + GST per year
