Haka House is a network of 13 design driven hostels across New Zealand’s most popular destinations, from the Bay of Islands to Queenstown. Our properties combine the social atmosphere and affordability of hostels with the comfort and quality standards today’s student travellers expect.

We regularly host school and education groups from New Zealand and overseas, offering practical and safe accommodation with flexible room setups ranging from shared dorms to private ensuite rooms. Many properties provide exclusive dorm use options for groups, fully equipped kitchens for self catering, and breakfast packages at selected locations.

Our central locations make it easy for students to access cultural, historical and natural attractions while exploring each destination. Communal lounges and shared spaces also create opportunities for students to connect, reflect and experience New Zealand together.
