Canterbury Homestay, established in 2023, is a family business based in Christchurch.

We see our role as supportive and advisory at all times, underpinned by the umbrella of pastoral care. We believe, this must be in place to protect and encourage students to adjust, grow and achieve well in school in New Zealand.

With a healthy number of homestays throughout Christchurch City and the wider area we are able to cater for student's individual needs and requirements.

We are proud to join with agents and schools in providing welcoming, kind and helpful host families who make student's stay in New Zealand enjoyable. Staying with a homestay family is a wonderful way to experience way of life in New Zealand as well as improve aspects of English Language communication.

Our host families are chosen for their interest in cultivating international friendships, their willingness to learn new phrases and communication skills and their enjoyment of people from different cultures.
